The studies of Folklore blend several disciplines ranging from English & Linguistics to Sociology and Communication. Minors may choose to have a Cultural Group focus or a Cultural Product focus. Literature, language, dance, history and fine arts all play a role in understanding folklore and its cultural impact.
For formal description of the program, visit the 2011-2012 catalog.
To discuss any questions about the minor program, please contact the Chair or other committee members.
